The current Managing Partner, Nicos Clerides, is one of Cyprus’ most prominent barristers and legal consultants. He represents clients in complex and high-value commercial, civil and criminal matters. He was called to the English Bar at Middle Temple Inn in London before returning to Cyprus to practise law alongside his father.

The legal firm Lefkos Clerides and Sons was established in 1946 by Lefkos Clerides, who went on to serve a term as the Minister of Justice in Cyprus and was Chairman of the Cyprus Bar Council for over 15 years. His cousin, Glafcos, the celebrated President of Cyprus, fought the Nazis before he became an internationally-acclaimed political leader.

A cousin of Nicos Clerides, Sir Christophoros Pissarides, the 2011 Nobel Prize Laureate in Economics, is an associate of the firm. Nicos and Christophoros were born in the small village of Agros in the Troodos Mountains. From those humble beginnings, they built their reputations to become prominent figures in their respective fields.
